With tax season upon us please be aware of Tax Collection Scams:  The scammer calls you stating you owe taxes.  They usually want payment using a prepaid debit card or wire transfer.  Remember the IRS will not initiate contact by telephone.  Best practice is to hang up and ignore these types of calls.
