VERSAILLES SAVINGS & LOAN IS MAKING A BIG UPGRADE

We are upgrading our core banking system. We will begin this upgrade on Friday, February 18th and it will be complete by Tuesday, February 22nd. Due to this conversion, we will be closed on Saturday, February 19th. Our office will open back up on Tuesday, February 22nd. The vast majority of our customers should not be affected by the system changes. If you do notice an issue with your account information after the upgrade, please call us at (937) 526-4515. Our team will be ready to answer your questions.
What is a core system? Why is Versailles Savings & Loan upgrading its core system?
The core system is the software that stores data, protects your customer information and handles day-to-day banking functions. The functions include opening and managing accounts, originating and servicing loans, processing deposits and withdrawals, posting transactions, calculating interest, and more. This conversion requires a significant investment of both time and resources, but it will enable us to enhance our capabilities and offerings and ultimately the service that we provide to our customers.
When is Versailles Savings & Loan upgrading its core system?
VS&L is upgrading its core system over Presidents’ Day weekend (Friday, February 18 – Monday February 21). The conversion will kick off after our nightly processing completes on Friday, February 18th.
What does this mean for you?
Most of the initial changes with the core conversion will be transparent to our customers. Your account numbers will not change. You can continue to use your existing checks and debit cards – enjoy the same banking features plus some enhancements – and see the same smiling faces.
What do you need to be aware of during conversion weekend?
Electronic banking features may experience some disruption. Debit card, Bill Pay & ATM transactions may be temporarily unavailable or your transaction amount may be limited at times between the afternoon of Thursday, February 17th and Tuesday, February 22nd. Over the conversion weekend be sure to have other forms of payment available, such as cash, checks and credit cards. Cardholders will not be able to perform balance inquiries over the weekend at the ATM. Any payments scheduled to be paid for this weekend will be processed on Tuesday, February 22nd.
What can I expect with my Digital and Mobile Banking options?
Users will not be able to access the Bill Pay system beginning the afternoon of Thursday, February 17th. On Tuesday morning February 22nd, users will be able to login to the new system. Users will be required to update their account information and change their password. Please see the Digital & Mobile Banking Procedures for post conversion.

What other important items should I know?

It is important that we verify/update your mobile phone number and email address. These updates will help us as you login and need to receive an Out Of Band Authentication code.

Never share a verification code. EVER. Banks use these codes in online banking to prove you're you. If you share that code, the scammer can use it to prove they're you. No caller - especially someone from your bank's fraud department - will ever ask for the verification code. That's always a scam.
